Apples

Apples are an excellent source of vitamins A and C. They're also loaded with carbohydrates and high in fiber, which helps with digestion and blood sugar regulation.

Beef

Beef contains no carbohydrates or fiber. Beef is a good source of protein, providing 22g per 3-ounce serving. Beef is a good source of carnitine, zinc, selenium, iron, and B vitamins. Because your dog cannot store or produce B vitamins, they must consume them in their diet. Carnitine is a general term for several compounds, including L-carnitine, acetyl-L-carnitine, and propionyl-L-carnitine. This nutrient is crucial for energy production since it transports long-chain fatty acids into the mitochondria (organelle found in your pet's cells) to be burned, producing energy.

Blueberries

Blueberries are low in calories and high in vitamin C, fiber, antioxidants, folate, potassium, and phytochemicals.

Broccoli

Brown rice (or whole grain rice) has the hull removed, is non-allergenic and provided it is cooked well, is easily digested by dogs. It contains three B vitamins, iron, manganese, selenium, magnesium and omega-3 oils that provide your dog with energy. Additionally, is a great source of fiber.

Carrots

Carrots are high in soluble fiber, beta- carotene, potassium, and vitamins A & K, they are filled with antioxidant power. The are extremely good in dog food recipes, promoting optimal eye health. Carrots are excellent sources of numerous minerals and once cooked, are relatively easily digested b dogs. Carrots are high in sugar and, therefore, must be given in moderation.

Chicken

Chicken is a lean meat, perfect for our canine friends, and provides a significant energy source for dogs. Chicken is an excellent source of protein and contains several nutrients that can help maintain your dog's overall health, including vitamin B3, vitamin B6, vitamin B12, Omega 6, and zinc. Vitamin B3 helps the body use proteins and fats and keeps the skin, hair, and nervous system healthy. It also plays a crucial role in how dogs convert food into energy.

Cinnamon

Cinnamon may reduce swelling and inflammation in dogs with arthritis, sore muscles, and joint pain. It is also high in antioxidants, which are mainly beneficial because they counter the effects of damaging free radicals in the body. Cinnamon may also help lower blood sugar levels, relieve digestive discomfort, and promote heart health. 

Cottage Cheese

Cottage cheese is a soft white cheese made of strained and seasoned curds of skim milk. It is not aged or colored and is a good source of calcium, phosphorus, protein, and vitamins with only trace amounts of lactose.

Eggs

Eggs are a good source of protein and amino acids. The best eggs for dogs are human-grade whole eggs, where the poultry is hormone and antibiotic-free. 

Green Beans

Green beans are the vegetable from the bean plant. They are a source of protein, fiber, iron, folate, calcium, potassium, magnesium, vitamins A, B6, C & K, and antioxidants.

Peas

Peas are a protein-rich legume that is a good source of vitamins A, B1, B6, C, and K. They also contain Minerals, including manganese, and are high in antioxidant Lutein. Peas are also high in fiber and folate.

Peanut Butter

Peanut Butter is an excellent source of protein, healthy fats, vitamins B and E, and niacin. 

Potatoes

Potatoes are super rich in nutrients, containing vitamins and minerals essential to your pup's health, such as vitamins C, B6, iron, and magnesium. These nutrients are a net positive for your dog's immune and nervous systems and overall health. 

Pumpkin

Safflower Oil

Safflower oil is an excellent source of the omega-6 fatty acid linoleic acid. It is also a good source of vitamin K and is particularly rich in vitamin E. Safflower oil is obtained by extracting oil from safflower seeds.

Spinach contains necessary vitamins and minerals, such as vitamins A, B, C, and K. It also provides extra fiber and beta-carotene.

Squash is a generic term for vine-growing vegetables associated with pumpkins and gourds. There are various types of squash. They all provide high fiber, beta-carotene, manganese, magnesium, and vitamins A, B6, and C.

Sweet potatoes are an excellent source of antioxidants, specifically beta-carotene. They also contain fiber and are a rich source of vitamins A, B6, and C, plus calcium, sodium, magnesium, and iron. This superfood aids in healthy eyes, skin, nerves, and muscles. Sweet potatoes may also help stabilize blood sugar levels and lower insulin resistance. 

Toasted Oats

Toasted oats are high in fiber, vitamin B, protein, iron, calcium, manganese, and antioxidants. They provide energy-boosting complex carbohydrates, which are an alternative source for dogs that may be sensitive to wheat or grains. 

Tri-color Peppers

Tri-color peppers are rich in vitamins A, B6, E, and lutein. They are also excellent sources of vitamin C and beta-carotene, antioxidants essential for a dog's healthy immune system. Although all peppers contain essential vitamins and nutrients, the red type is the most nutritious because it contains the highest amounts of vitamins and antioxidants. 

Turkey

Turkey is an excellent source of protein for dogs, supplying the essential minerals and amino acids needed for muscle growth and overall well-being, such as tryptophan, selenium, zinc, phosphorus, potassium, and magnesium. Turkey is also rich in vital nutrients like vitamin B6 and niacin, essential for healthy skin and efficient metabolism. These nutrients also help keep your dog's nervous system in tip-top shape.

White Rice

White rice is simply brown rice that has been milled and polished to remove the outer bran, germ, and aleurone layers. Cooked plain white rice can be a good option for a dog with an upset stomach; it is easy to digest and helps bind stool.
